Welcome to our ministry site ! |
|
This site keeps pastors, churches, supporters and anyone who wants to follow the activities of P23 Ministry informed. Here you will find our current and past newsletters, how you can help, and more information about projects we are involved in.
In 2007, Psalm 23 Ministry was first a topic of discussion between Pastor Mike Wakefield and Tom Shuford from North Laurel Baptist in Valdese, NC with a desire to help others suffering from a life-threatening illness as Tom did. It was formed as a local church ministry that reaches out to those people and shares the good news of Jesus Christ with them! Our vision for the future is that this ministry would be adopted in other churches as a world-wide evangelistic outreach.
We believe Psalm 23 Ministry is a mission like no other found today in our churches. We hear of missions to people in other countries, and missions to other groups of specific people, but personally I don't recall hearing of a mission to reach out to those with life-threatening illnesses in the way this ministry does. Reaching out to them through a specific mission is a different concept. It is our prayer that this ministry reaches "Those with a Life-threatning Illness for Christ!" |

- That this ministry reach those with a life-threatening illness.
- That God would put "Divine Appointments" in our paths.
- For God to use our new program "Operation Prayer Partner" in a mighty way.
- That this ministry expand and grow as God would allow.
